    Drop the Mower deck, using needle nose pliers squeeze plastic barb on old cable and simultaneously push the old retainer aft to allow removal of old cable. Lift the old forward spring engagement up and twist out of deck. Reverse the removal to install new cable in mower deck and push deck forward to hook tow hook, align and reinstate aft 2 deck pins. Go back to work ( after cup of coffee ;-).

    Took cotter pins out took old cable away replace cable to rear deck connected front end of cable. replaced cotter pins then zip tie to frame stabilize ,
