This spark plug cover is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer. The rubber and metal component is often used in snowthrower engines, and is sold individually. The spark plug cover is fitted over the spark plug wire connection, providing protection. A screwdriver and pliers may be required for the removal and replacement.

    Removed all lines and replaced. Added new spark plug and primer line and button. Working great. Didn't need spark solid or cover,but added for assurance.

    Spark Plug Wire end connection

    , Q-tip/small amount of petroleum jelly

    1. Removed old wire cover and wire connection
    2. Applied small amt of petroleum jelly to inner part of spark plug sleeve
    3. Affixed plug cap to plug wire
    4. Slid wire through sleeve

    Spark plug cable end split and would not stay on the plug

    Removed the old head
    Stripped the end of the existing cable
    Attached the new head
    Popped it back on the spark plug
    Wham Bam - back in business ;-)

    Remove old cover and use pliers take old plug clamp off then replace new clamp lug in and use pliers closed clamp together and place push cable plug inside cover hole.
