This is a genuine Whirlpool part for use with Blenders. The drive coupling connects the drive shaft to the jar blade. This part sits on top of the motor. The most common reason for replacing the coupling is if the bender blades are not spinning. This part is sold individually. This part is made of a hard black plastic and has a metal nut that is molded into the bottom of the coupling. The threads on the nut are reverse thread. The tools that you will need to replace this part are a flat head screwdriver and a hammer.
