Product Description ?

This item is used with DeWalt rotary hammers and Black and Decker circular saws. The power cord is sourced from the original manufacturer to replace a damaged or broken cord that came as new with the tool. This two wire cord is encased in a durable covering and is used to relay electricity from the outlet to the switch. The cord is available as an individual replacement part.

    Screwdriver, Pliers

    Remove the screws from the handle assembly
    Removed the wires from the switch
    Cut the wires to the correct length
    Connect the new cord wires to the switch
    Place switch and cord relief in place
    Screw the handle assembly back together

    original cord was broken

    Screwdriver, wire nuts

    removed all screws for the cover over. Cut the original wires inside the handle. Removed the original cord. Installed the replacement cord. Trimmed both black and white leads. Attached to white and black leads in the handle. Attached white and black wires with wire nuts. Applied electrical tape over the wire nuts. Reattached the handle and tightened all screws. Tested machine.
