    Just what I needed
    Guest - August 16, 2019 Verified Purchase
The cord was a food fit once I repaired it. One of the ends was missing , but fortunately I had a kit to do these kinds of fixes. Once installed, operation was good
Other than a missing connection, the cord was fine

Oiginal power cord had been cut by pinching in between sander and edge of board.

    Parts Used
Needed to remove screws on handle and seperate handle halves. Unscrew connector screws for power and return from back of switch and the green ground wire. There is a retainer strap that has 2 screws that need to be removed. Replacement cord had a short white wire that I just scabbed old wire to new, at proper length using a connector, so I would have the correct wire termination. Re attached all screws in handles, and test.
A nice feature is the new cord comes with a torx tip needed to remove all needed screws. Overall very happy with new cord and ease of repair.,

Removed one half of the switch handle, then unscrewed the switch from the other handle and unscrewed the cord clamp. I then disconnected the old cord from the switch. Then I connected the new cord to the switch. Screwed the switch back onto the handle half and replaced the cord clamp. Then install the handle half to the sander making sure no wires were getting pinched.
