Description:

This is an authentic OEM part from Husqvarna for use with Tillers. The throttle control assembly attaches to the handle and the carburetor to control the engine speed. The most common reason for replacing the throttle control assembly is if the throttle is unresponsive, stuck open (or closed), the throttle cable is rusted, broken or the throttle trigger handle is broken or cracked. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the throttle control assembly wire cutters, long-nosed pliers, wrench socket/ratchet set and a small screwdriver.

Tools Used:

Screwdriver, Socket set, clamp to hole the clutch lever to handle bar

throttle cable was "frozen" and clutch cable was worn out bought a drive belt for use later

removed the old starter cable losing 1 screw
found a replacement screw
installed new throttle cable and one new screw
readjusted cable clamps worked find

removed old cluck cable
installed new cable simple!!
adjust clamps and cable location repeat 6X
check directions
set cable with proper tension
worked great moral - - read the directions with glasses on
