Auger/impeller control rod thumb that tightens the belt idler broke.

Socket set, 6x6 wood blocks to balance detached frame
1. Removed the plastic housing over the drive and auger belt pulleys.
2. Removed 1 bolt each side of frame to back off the entire blower assembly.
3. Removed blower belt from top pulley
4. Tilted blower assembly 90 degrees to rest on snow intake face
5. Removed pin from control arm and control rod
6. Removed 2 bolts on frame that hold the blower idler assembly and released idler spring
7. Pulled broken control rod through frame from front
8. Put 2 thin washers on control rod between frame and wings on rear end of rod
9. Put control rod through hole in frame rear and re-attached the control arm and pin
10. Put washer on control rod at idler end and put rod end into matching hole on idler arm
11. Re-attached idler arm spring to idler arm
12. Re-attached idler arm with control rod in place to frame with 2 bolts removed earlier
12. Checked alignment of idler pulley with drive pulley to ensure all parts in proper place
13. Put blower belt on blower assembly pulley
14. Dropped blower assembly onto rod at front of frame and fastened with removed bolts
15. Threaded blower belt over drive pulley and around idler pulley
16. Tested operation from the operator's handle
17. Replaced the belt cover
