1. Take out battery 2. Remove eight screws. Leave the 3 at the top in the handle, tape over them so they don't fall out. 3. Apply tape to the lock trigger to hold it down and out of the way. 4. Apply pressure to the spring pushing it down at the same time push the prong on the switch. 5. The trigger should lift off with little effort. 6. Replace all the items in reverse, taking time to let all set into place. 7. For my own felling, I placed a small amount of grease on the contact area of the spring and trigger.
