Riding lawn mower lost a leveling bracket, causing blades to drag on the grass, that also ruined the yard wheels on the blade deck.

William - July 24, 2019
Tool Type

Lawn Mower

Difficulty

Easy

Time

15-30 minutes

Tools Used

Power Drill, Socket set

Replacing the leveling bracket on the deck was easy. All it took were the accessories that hold the bracket in place. The Pin deck relay, compression spring, and the cotter pin to hold the bracket in place. The deck could now be adjusted to the height the operator wanted the lawn. Very easy. Damage was done to the welded brackets on the deck where the deck rollers that stabilize the deck attached. Straightened the brackets carefully so as not to break the welds, installed new rollers , done. Tested the mower and the cutting adjustment up and down, everything worked fine. Job complete. again very easy.
