    The magneto feel like it should they should include instructions for exact specs on spacing between mag pick up and magneto if I hadn’t use my Brass filler gauges to figure out what to get air gap was, I probably would’ve had problems

    Removed old coil-boot and replaced. Set the gap between the flywheel magnets with a business card. Not much to it, really. I do, however, recommend using steel wool to clean (lightly) the magnet before installation of new part.
