Tools Used
Socket set, Hammer and punch
1) Removed handle clutch brake cover
2) Remove bar and chain
3) Remove spark plug and fill cylinder with starter rope to prevent piston damage.
4) Take hammer and large punch and hit flat part of clutch to remove. Most saws are left hand threads on the clutch so opposite of a normal nut.
5) Clean the saw thoroughly
6) Apply a small amount of grease to drum needle bearings and reverse the above steps to reassemble.
