The purpose of this clamp is to secure the upper and the lower boom assemblies together. If it is missing or is damaged, this will provide an identical replacement for the part that was installed on a new unit. 1. Removed the air cleaner.
2. Removed the handle/throttle trigger assembly.
3. Removed the broken cable and replaced with the new.
4. Replaced the handle and the air cleaner.
5. Replaced the boom clamp.

Genuine parts that fit perfectly, no hassle repair.
