The old blade for our Hamilton Beach food process developed cracks where the blades meet plastic. I believe this may have been an initial defect. The new one appears to be well sealed at these points.

Just remove the damaged blade by pulling up on it. Install the new blade by pressing it down on the stem inside of the processor.
