Check valve broke off at tank

Parts Used
1. Remove motor and compression lines together from tanks and cage completely
2. Tried easy out to remove check valve seat from tank, but ended up cutting brass seat length wise to threads and caved in the seat so I could remove it from tank
3. Then run a tap thru threads to straighten and clean
4. Install Teflon on threads of check valve and screw in
5. Reinstall motor and compression lines
6. Turn motor on and check for leaks

Parts Used
Remove existing parts from the damaged check valve. Remove the check valve from the compressor. Install new check valve , then install the parts that were taken off of the old one.
