This part is an OEM from Campbell Hausfeld for use with Air Compressors. The check valve lets pressurized airflow into the tank and prevents air from flowing back into the pump. The most common reason for replacing the check valve is if it is stuck open. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the check valve is an adjustable wrench and a 7/16 wrench.

Works like original part
This check valve is used in an air compressor. I removed the old failed part and installed the replacement part easily with no alteration to the attaching pressure tube.

A very small fastener came loose and went down the high pressure tube to the original check valve where it kept the valve open

Parts Used
1. Removed high pressure tube from cylinder head and check valve with open end wrench.
2. Removed damaged original check valve with socket wrench.
3. Applied Teflon tape to pipe thread end only of replacement check valve and installed it using socket wrench.
4. Reinstalled high pressure tube.
5. Started compressor and check for leaks. Found none!
