This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with chainsaws. It is made out of metal and it is sold individually. This is the part that fits over the bar and it is what cuts the material. Over time the chain will stretch and become dull so it will need to be replaced.
To replace this chain you would need a wrench, screwdriver and pliers.
• Remove the buide bar side panel
• Release the chain tension
• Remove the old chain
• Loosen the tensioning screw
• Thread the new chain onto the saw
• Align the guide bar
• Replace the side plate
• Tighten the chain to the correct tension
• Finish tightening the side plate nuts
