    I installed the catch pan holder on the drip pan and slid the catch pan in place.It's a very simple process that anyone can do. No tools are required to install the catch pan and holder i used the screwdriver to take the burner control panel off to install the manifold support bracket.

    Old pitted burners, inoperable igniters and rusted out catch pan holder

    I removed and replaced the burners and ignitors on an 18 year old Weber Summit 6 burner. I now have a brand new grill for $160 instead of paying $2,000 to replace it.

    old Weber grill needed new parts

    Replaced igniter kit.
    Removed knobs and control panel from right side of grill.
    Removed old manifold by removing two wingnuts that attach it to cook box.
    Removed old burner tubes.
    Inserted new burner tubes.
    Attached new manifold to burner tubes and secured with wingnuts to cook box.
    Replaced control panel and two old but usable knobs and one new knob.
    Removed rusted catch pan holder from grease tray and replaced with new holder.

    I sprayed the nuts with penetrating oil in advance. Used a socket wrench on one nut and vis-grip (locking pliers) on the other. Installed the new rails with hardware supplied.

    The catch pan holder was a simple installation - rotate the catch pan holder 90 degrees from the desired position, insert and then rotate 90 degrees to lock in place.

    The grill is about 7 years old, and burner tube rusted as well as bottom tray and catch pan
