Description:
This is an OEM replacement part designed for use with Briggs and Stratton engines. The purpose of a carburetor is to supply a combustible mixture of fuel and air to the engine. It also helps to control engines speed. This assembly includes a metal body carburetor and a composite material gasket.

Please note if the engine starts and quickly dies you may want to test the carburetor. You can do so by removing air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope and if the engine starts and then quickly dies, carburetor is likely the problem.

To complete this repair you would need a wrench.

• Remove cover
• Disconnect fuel lines
• Remove old carburetor and install the new one
• Re-assemble and test the engine

Engine would only run in full choke full throttle
1. Don't bother buying carburetor parts.
2. Buy the whole carburetor.
3. Replace it.
Note: It actually tool about 6 weeks because I tried to be frugal and rebuild the carb.
Optional tools: Swear word dictionary for when you find out it wasn't the head gasket and the carburetor rebuild parts are a worthless wast of money.

I left gas in the wood splitter over the summer and it gelled up plugging up the carburetor
Seems like I'm not smart enough to drain the gas out of a small engine when it sits for a long period of time, and i don't have much mechanical background so i just ordered another carburetor. I took the two bolts out, and about 10 minutes to replace and change the fuel lines. It fired up the second time I pulled the cord.

Old carburetor dirty and clogged.
Easiest thing to do was to buy a new replacement carburetor. From the time I started to install the carb, replace all the fuel line with a cut off valve and filter and had the pressure washer engine running was about and hour. Modifying the fuel line and hooking up the water to the washer were the items that made the job take longer. With the new carburetor the engine started with just two pulls on the cord.
