This is a genuine Makita carburetor for a blower. This part is part of the engine and its function is to combine fuel and air together, creating combustion. If you are experiencing hard starting, or poor running issues, the likely culprit is the carburetor. This is generally caused by debris entering the part and leading to its failure. If fuel is left in the carburetor for an extended amount of time, the internal rubber components will harden and weaken, and will break.
