This is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specially designed for use with MTD and Yard Man lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix the air and the gas before the combustible mixture goes to the engine. If the engine won\\\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This high-quality assembly is sold individually, keep in mind it includes a durable metal body carburetor and the gaskets to ensure an air-tight seal. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this component.
