This is an authentic replacement carburetor designed for use with Poulan trimmers. Carburetor mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This is a metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb. Please note gaskets are sold separately.
If the engine won't start, you may want to test the carburetor. Remove the air filter and pour about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.
Requires a screwdriver to complete this repair.
• Remove the rear cover
• Remove the carburetor
• Remove the fuel filter
• Install the fuel filter
• Install the carburetor
• Re-assemble and test the unit
