This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement carbon brush repair kit. It is specially manufactured for Andis clippers. Carbon brushes help to conduct electric current in an electric motor. Over time brushes tend to wear our requiring replacement. This repair kit includes includes (2) carbon brushes, (2) metal springs and (2) plastic brush caps. Please note, brush holders are sold separately.
Replacing these brushes is a simple task that should only require a flat-head screwdriver.
• First make sure to unplug the clippers
• Remove the brush caps
• Remove the old brushes
• Install the new brushes
• Reassemble and test the clippers

2. Remove and Discard old metal caps.
3. Remove and discard old springs/brushes.
4. Replace spring/brush assembly.
5. Replace metal caps.
6. Reinstall plastic end caps.
Be aware how the brushes fit into the slot to the motor. Follow the directions that came with the brushes and everything worked perfectly. No problems what-so-ever.
Blade drive broke, broken brush holders and intermittent turnoff.
