This authentic OEM approved replacement carburetor kit. It is designed for Generac generator engine. The purpose of this item is to mix air and gas creating a combustible mixture needed for the engine to run. This is a metal body carburetor which is sold individually. Please note gaskets are sold separately.
Please note if the engine won't start or it starts and quickly dies you may want to test the carburetor. You can do so by removing air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope and if the engine starts and then quickly dies, carburetor is likely the problem.
To complete this repair you would need a wrench.
