Removed screws holding grip, take a cell phone picture or wire route, take wire out from terminal, replace with new power cord following your cell phone picture. As a homeowner, tools are a necessity (if you do it yourself) sometimes it’s faster, less expensive to do your own repairs. Purchase original factory install parts and you won’t be sorry. Glad I found a supplier for the parts to repair the tools I usually damage
