Questions & Answers

vacuum runs but brush does not turn, would that be the belt?
Mary for model number 87B4
Hello Mary, thank you for your inquiry! If the vacuum is on but not picking anything up, then the brush roller may be spinning improperly. The belt makes the brush roller spin, so check that first. If the belt is not broken, the brush roller may need to be cleaned or replaced. The belt for model 87B4 is part number B-32074. I hope this information helps!

Left side of cleaner top would not come all the way down
No problems installing new parts, went well. Only problem I had was with one of the hoses being on the wrong side of the water outlet, could not get left side to come all the way down. Corrected this problem the top went into place easily. Make sure this hose is on the inside if the water drain in bottom of sweeper tank area.

Brush roller would not spin. Pump belt broken. End caps broken. Just a mess!
Removed all broken or missing parts above and used instructions that came with belts. Easy to follow, no problem. Relined and locked side end caps with side brushes and put together with locking screw. no problem. you guys did not have the front nozzle for the 8920 so I got some automotive glue and screw clamps to hold till glue set up over night. Reinstalled all of the above. all is well. Cost me $33.00 for parts from e-replacement and five dollars for the glue. Only took 3 days from the time of ordering till finish. thanks guys, Neely
