Product Description ?

The brush holder is what holds the carbon brushes in the correct position on the armature so electricity can be transferred to it. If the carbon brushes are worn, it is always recommended to also check the condition of the holder and replace it as necessary. Sometimes the carbon brush holder just needs a good cleaning with electrical contact cleaner. Usually the brush holder only requires replacing if the drill motor has overheated, causing the brush holder to melt or warp. Please note that this is a single carbon brush holder and is an OEM sourced part.

  • Part fit perfect but wire was to short.
The brush holder was an exact replacement but the wire was to short for one of the places. The wire is soldered in place and easy to swap with the original if you have a soldering iron.

Drilll had no power. first I checked with a meter to see if the cord was good. Doing an inspection of the tool after it was apart I seen the Brushes were worn out. And because of that it wore down the Brush Holders. Everything was replaced and repaired and it runs like new. The best thing to do is take a picture of what you are going to disassemble so you are sure how to put back together.
