This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement carbon brush and spring assembly which is designed for use with Jet table saws. Carbon brushes are a commonly replaced item on power tools, they help to conduct electricity by maintaining physical contact with an armature. Through friction and heat, brushes will gradually wear away and will require replacement to maintain motor'ss peak performance. This high-quality item is sold individually, please note the brush holders are sold separately. It is advised to replace both brushes at the same time.

Turned over the saw, removed the brush and spring caps with a flat head screwdriver. Pulled the brush ans spring assembly out, installed the new brush assemblys and replaced the retainer caps.
