Product Description ?

It is an authentic OEM sourced replacement brush assembly that is specially made for Milwaukee hammer drills. Carbon brushes play a very important role by conducting electric current in a motor by maintaining physical contact with an armature. Over time brushes will wear down loosing conductivity and eventually will require replacement. This is a complete assembly which includes two brush holders with springs and carbon brushes pre-installed.

Remove the screws from the housings and separate them. Try to keep all of the parts in one half. Take a few pictures with your phone of where the part are located. Carefully remove the lead from the terminals on the brushes. Pull the brush springs back from the brushes and set them on the brush holder. Use a part of needle nose pliers to remove the brush and holders from the motor. Hold the new brushes with the plies and press them into the motor where the other brushes where, release the spring so they are pushing in the brushes, and hook up the terminals to the brushes. Make sure all the parts are in place and screw the housings together.
