Snapped off the old blower, snapped on the new and voila, it was ready to go without having to fiddle with the switch.

The simple fact is that the shaft broke between the fan and motor, and all I really needed was the shaft or motor not the whole casing and I could not get either so it came as a complete unit with case, so there was no real repair. I did remove the old motor and fan and if I had a lathe and Milling machine I would have made it. But I don't! The unit worked fine and thank you.
