The most difficult part, is removing and replacing the mower deck from the tractor. Once that is accomplished, it is very easy to proceed, and the replacement of the spindles takes a few minutes. My wife uses this tractor, and I could hear a bell like sound as she mowed past me. I knew from that sound, that a bearing was self destructing. we mow about 4 acres. It does help that it includes installation instructions.
