    The screw was reverse thread so I planed to drill and tap it and use another screw to get it out. The drilling caused the screw to come out on its own. Then all that was left is to attach the new screw.

    Twisted the head off o bolt

    1 bolt threads in the saw were center punched.
    2 The threads were left hand so as I drilled with a right hand twist drill bit the bolt backed out.

    Started to drill pilot hole thinking I would have to use easy out to remove broken piece in tool so to my surprise as I began to drill the broken piece it moved up out of hole to point where I could remove it using pliers---tried new blade screw and all is good
