On the Simplicity you remove two small hex head screws by the control panel. Then you remove the gas tank cover. Then you lift the top machine cover up at the control panel and pull it away from the front of the machine. This reveals most of the side of the blower where the belt is. There is a small metal cover plate at the bottom front of the machine by the snow thrower impeller. It is held on with 4 screws and locking nuts. When this plate is removed you can easily remove the old belt. Please pay attention to how the belt is routed through the pulleys and the brake. String the new belt onto the engine drive pulley and the impeller drive pulley and then insert the belt into the brake mechanism in the middle of the belt. Start the engine and see that the impeller stops turning when the clutch handle is off. If not, adjust the tension on the spring and brake mechanism so that the spring just has the tension removed when the clutch handle is in the off position. When everything looks right reassemble the parts in the reverse order that you took them off. Good luck, it is really pretty simple but you may get your hands dirty.
