Product Description ?

This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The blade brake/clutch belt is found in a Husqvarna lawn mower. This part is made of flexible rubber, and is used to transfer power from the engine to the pulley assembly that powers the mower blade. Over time, it may become brittle and cracked, requiring replacement. You may need a wrench when replacing this part. This item is sold individually.

Tool Type

Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver

1- Lift up the mower with cinder blocks.
2- Remove the blade.
3- Remove the plastic cover from under the mower.
4- Disconnect the tension arm assembly spring.
5- Remove the tension arm assembly to the blade brake/clutch.
6- Check condition of tension arm assembly bearing.
7- Remove old worn belt from the blade brake/clutch.
8- Install new belt around the blade Brake /clutch
9- Reinstall all parts following the same steps in reverse.
10- Make sure that no cables, parts or belts are binding or rubbing together before reinstalling the plastic cover and finally the blade.

Belt fell off auto drive so I replaced both belts since I had it a psrt.
