It is a genuine component that is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with Whirlpool electric cooking stoves/ovens. The bake element, is located at the bottom of the oven and supplies heat for baking. A screwdriver will be needed to remove the screws, directly above the element brackets, in order to remove the old bake element. This part is made of metal and is sold individually.
