Common problem: Line cuts into the bail arm which holds the bail and the line roller. Cut catches and ruins (frays) line upon retrieve. Amazing to me that this part isn't made of metal.

Remove screw that secures bail and roller bearing to bail arm.
Remove screw that secures bail arm to reel (do this slow and careful to avoid dislodging the bail spring. Reinstall bail arm to reel. Reinstall bail and roller bearing to bail arm.
