All the ingredients are placed into this dish, which it situated inside the heating base of the slow cooker. If the outer coating is starting to chip or you notice a crack, it should be replaced right away. Stoneware is generally safe for the dishwasher, but to help make it last even longer, wash it by hand when possible.

What is the return policy if there is an issue with the stoneware replacement? I have been using this model for 5y with no issues. I am the one who accidentally broke the stoneware. The reviews I have seen for the newer machines are terrible so reluctant to buy a whole new unit. Replacing the stoneware is 2x the cost of replacing the entire machine ($11 bucks on Amazon), but I'm terrified of some of the safety issues with the newer machines. So if I pay more here to replace the stoneware, what sort of guarantee is there, return/replacement policy etc. Thank you.
