This counterweight spring is supplied directly from the original manufacturer. Secured with the spring outer bracket, the Whirlpool spring helps the tub to sit straight, keeping the motor in balance. A pair of pliers, a Phillips and a flat screwdriver are needed for making the replacement. Please be sure to check the other suspension springs, as they can wear over time and regular use. This counterweight spring is sold individually.

took washer casing off to put suspension spring on underneath. Used pliers to pull the spring to hook into the proper hole.
