Perfect replacement for Moen Caldwell bathroom faucet cartridge.
    Guest - May 13, 2023 Verified Purchase
Easy repair for anyone having some home owner repair experience.
Perfect fit for an older model Kitchen spigot. Should add a note that the old valve may be hard to start removing. I used a knife with a very sharp blade to loosen the valve and removed it as the picture showed.

Does this kit include both the hot and cold cartridges? If not, where does it ask which one I need on the order page? Aren't they different?

Hello Brad, Thank you for writing. This Cartridge states it is used for Hot or Cold. If they are different for your model faucet, we will need the model number to locate the correct parts. Once you have located the model number please feel free to resubmit the question and we will be happy to help you. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Removed handle, removed nut then grabbed the top of the old cartridge with pliers and pulled it out...you have to pull hard and move it side to side but it will come out.. New cartridge went in easy...it was an easy repair that saved me a lot of money doing it myself...

Important before you order new cartridges for your faucet make sure you can remove the old ones. This Moen faucet had 2 handles one hot and one for cold. This repair should take less than 1/2 hour to do. The cold side took about 15 min. But I was unable to remove the Allen set screw on the hot handle.
Tried everything to loosen it nothing worked.
Long story short had to buy whole new faucet.

The faucet cartridge by Moen that was delivered was left-handed. When I ordered it I was not given a choice of left-right, but I needed a right-handed one. So I removed and my leaking right cartridge and re-inserted it, and it's not leaking any more. I'm glad I ordered a new brass nut because the old one was very fragile so I had to throw it away. So I now have an unused left cartridge waiting to be used when the original left cartridge begins to leak.
