  • Exactly the part I was looking for!
This temperature sensitive fuse is exactly what I needed to get my heater working. This is an exact replacement part rated to open at a specific over temperature to prevent a fire.

    Questions & Answers for Thermolink

Can I bypass the thermolink on my Broan 157-B surface heater? I have replaced it twice in one week. It heat the room for two showers and blows the link. I replaced it and the same thing happened. Any suggestions?
Ronnie for model number Broan 157-B asked on 2023-12-18
Hi Ronnie and thank you for contacting us. Im sure you can by-pass it but this is a safety feature that would prevent a fire therefore I absolutly do not recommend it. There is clearly another issue with the unit causing it blow such as poor air ventilation due to a blockage in the exhaust pipe or problems with the motor itself being dirty and over heating. They do not just blow for no reason! Best Regards.
