This genuine OEM surface element is a 6-inch coil burner with 4 turns. It features pigtail, looped ends and has a black center medallion. It is designed to provide even heat distribution on your stovetop. If you notice that the burner element is heating unevenly or not heating at all, it needs to be replaced. Check for any visible signs of damage such as cracks, blisters, or burn marks on the coil. You can also use a multimeter to test it for continuity. When replacing the element, make sure that the appliance is turned off and has cooled down. Lift the old element up from the range and pull it away at an angle to remove it. When installing the new element, align the terminals and firmly push it into place, ensuring that the mounting bracket lines up with the slots on the drip bowl. Please note that this replacement part is sold individually.
