This white wire shelf is designed for the freezer compartment of your refrigerator, measuring about 24.5 inches by 12.33 inches. It is a stable platform that lets you store frozen food items. To assess whether a replacement is needed, examine the shelf for damage, corrosion, or wear. Pay attention to any bent, protruding, or broken wires, as well as sharp edges that could potentially cause harm. If you find such issues, it is recommended to replace the shelf. When removing the current shelf from your freezer, start by opening the freezer door and clearing its contents. Gently push the shelf to the left to release its right end from the liner holes. Lift it upwards and out, making sure to save the plastic end caps. As you install the new shelf, make sure its top side is correctly positioned, with the front-to-back rungs resting on the three crossbars. Slide the end caps onto one end, ensuring they are fully seated on the rungs. Insert the ends of the shelf into the left side, gently push it to the left to free the right side, let it drop into the holes, and then shift it to the right to align it. Keep in mind that this replacement part is sourced directly from its original equipment manufacturer and is sold individually.
