This is an original part from Whirlpool, Maytag, International, Jenn-Air, Crosley and Roper for use with Dryers. The support roller shaft attaches the support roller to the dryer and provides a place for the roller to rotate. The most common reason for replacing the roller shaft is if the bearing in roller went bad and gouged up the surface of the axle shaft. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the roller shaft are a Phillips screwdriver, 5/16” nut driver, snap ring pliers, flathead screwdriver, and 1/2” wrench. Unplug the dryer before installing this part.

Read the installation instructions and went for it. Over all it was easy, and while you are in there clean as much as you can with a shop vac.
