This part is an OEM from Whirlpool for use with Cooktops. The indicator light lights up when a cooking surface is hot or a burner is on. The most common reason for replacing the indicator light has failed or if it isn’t coming on when the element is on. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the indicator light a Phillips screwdriver, putty knife, two wood support sticks, towel, flathead screwdriver, 1/4” nut driver, razor blade and foam tape.
