Installed the Porta Cable 725 replacement handle on my Ridgid 942 with only a Philips screw driver. The casting numbers on the inside of the handle were the same. Only difference was the replacement handle was Porter-Cable Black and the original was Ridgid Red. Not a big thing to get a saw going again where ... Read more the original mfg. discontinued all parts.
Ridgid 942 - Porta Cable 725 - Rockwell 725 all seem to be made by the same company. Only differences seem to be the name plate and the color.
