This is an authentic replacement part assembled by original manufacturer. It is found in some DeWALT band saws. This sprocket engages and activates the chain. Sprockets are high wear items and may need frequent replacement. Sold individually.
1. unplug saw
2.remove blade
3.unscrew center torx screw from drive wheel
4 unscrew three torx screws from drive wheel
5.remove drive wheel
6. remove sprocket and chain
7. install new sprocket with chain
8. align drive wheel with sprocket reinstall drivewheel and screws
9. install blade.

Removed cover, detached drive chain. Removed retainer nut and worn sprocket. Inserted new sprocket and reversed process.
