This is an original Porter Cable replacement part. The handle set is designed by the manufacturer for use in band saws. This part includes both halves of the high-quality plastic handle, as well as a rubber wire protector, a metal wire, and hardware for attachment. It is used to provide the user with a secure grip and control of the machine, and access to the trigger switch. You will require a screwdriver when replacing this item. Very simple replacement.
Installed the Porta Cable 725 replacement handle on my Ridgid 942 with only a Philips screw driver. The casting numbers on the inside of the handle were the same. Only difference was the replacement handle was Porter-Cable Black and the original was Ridgid Red. Not a big thing to get a saw going again where

Ridgid 942 - Porta Cable 725 - Rockwell 725 all seem to be made by the same company. Only differences seem to be the name plate and the color.
