Lost rear wheel bolt & no tread left on rear wheels

1- New wheels did not come with drive gear on them
2- Had to remove drive gears from both old wheels and install them on each rear wheel
3-After removal and installation on new wheel drive gear had to be locked on using solder gun to melt plastic tangs to lock in place. After the plastic tangs were melted and cooled, the drive gears were locked in place
4-Install rear wheels and go

Transmission failed

Removed transmission and control assembly. Replaced same. Used parts catalog pictures for reassembling. Pretty much straight forward. Appreciated timely and complete delivery of parts. Main delay was in assembling the new shift lever for handlebar.

Axle and related parts were worn out

Turned off gas to carb
Supported mower vertical
Removed wheels and related parts
Removed blade
Removed belt guide
Removed spring from axle assembly
Removed control cable
Removed axle assembly
Reverse order with new parts
Takes about 11/2 hours
