This is an authentic manufacturer-supplied replacement part that is specially made for Char-Broil grills. The carry-over tube provides support for the burners and carries the flame from one burner tube to the next. Over time due to a combination of heat and moisture tubes may begin to rust or warp eventually requiring replacements. One high-quality stainless steel carry-over tube with two clips to secure it are included. Check the diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation of this component. You may require pliers to remove and secure the clips that secure the flame carryover tube.
I removed the old burner tubes, attached the igniters to the new ones, connected the flame carryover. Tested
The grill and installed Flame tamers. Put in the new infrared plates
and laid down grates.
Cleaning was biggest part of the job. Four year old grill used at least twice a week summer and winter.
Took off the old parts and replaced its the new reinstalled the starter device
Removed the old main burners and carryover tubes by removing the cotter pins holding them in place. Removed the igniters from each burner by gently prying them open and sliding them off the burners. Cleaned the entire burner area and replaced the main burners securing them with the new cotter pins and reinstalling the igniters on each bur

1.removed rusted burners and cleared out all corrosion.
2. replaced all 3 burners with simple screw securing at control end
3. tested burners individually and then attached carryovers.
tubes were rusted out. Also had to drill out the screw that holds them in at the back of the grill. That being said I had to use a bolt and nut to attach them back into the back of the grill, which meant I had to unscrew the back panel to access the bottom of the hole. If it had\'nt been for that, it would have been a 5 minute fix. Gr

Removed rusted parts, cleaned out the bottom of the grill using a shop vac. Installed new parts. Checked to see if burners worked. Grilled steak for dinner?
