Parts were rusted out

The most difficult part was removing the old rusted out parts and screws. The screws were corroded so bad it was there wasn\'t really a place to insert the screwdriver. Using rust remover/ bolt loosener and needle nosed pliers, work solution down into screw grooves until screw spins freely. Remove screws but save them. Not all of the new screws fit in the existing holes. Be sure to remove the screws that attach the igniter from the igniter burner before trying to pull out the igniter burner (there are 2). After screws are removed parts easily pull out or lift off. New parts were not an exact fit but we\'re better quality and we\'re close enough to make it work. Attach the igniter back onto the new igniter burner before trying to attach anything else (reuse of old screw school was necessary here). Lay in all burners and carry over tubes, insert screws but do not tighten all the way. After everything aligns tighten each screw most but not all of the way. Then go back and tighten them all the way. Other wise it is difficult to align the last screw. Also, be sure all of the carry over tubes face the same and correct direction.

My Charbroil grill is over ten years old. I live in Michigan and use it year round. The burners and carryover tubes failed after years of use
I removed the rusted rivets that were (partially) holding the burners in place by drilling them out.
The new burners were installed and secured using stainless steel nuts & bolts.
The carry over tubes connected easily to the burners. The grease tray was installed without issue.
My grill now works like new and I do not have to spend $500+ for a new one!

Our barbecue hasn\'t worked for a while. I was reluctant to buy a new one, and decided to take the plunge and see if it were worth trying to rebuild the Char-Broil I had (now close to 10 years old). So I did the following:

1. Removed old parts.
2. Cleaned unit.
3. Got online and ordered new parts.
4. When pa rts arrived, got frustrated that I had ordered the wrong ones (hadn\'t checked the serial number).
5. Called eReplacement, who helped me figure out the right ones and facilitated the return.
6. Sulked.
7. New parts arrived and were installed within about 25 minutes.
8. Barbecued chicken and corn for dinner.
9. Did the happy dance!

Drilled out the screws holding the tubes in place, as they were so corroded they could not be unscrewed. Once that was done I was able to install the new ones without issue.

The parts were very easy to find on your site and were delivered 2 to 3 days earlier than the projected delivery date. All the parts were replaced in under 15 minutes using only phillips screwdriver and was back to grilling. I highly recommend using this site for you\'re parts.

1. Removed grates and flame tamers. Applied WD 40 to all burner tube and crossover tubes screws.
2. Applied WD 40 and waited I hour. Inserted phillips screwdriver into head of screw and tapped handle with small hammer. Inserted phillips screwdriver into head of screw and tapped handle with small hammer.
3. Applied WD 40 again . Waited another hour.
4. Removed screws with high torque screwdriver (8\" shaft). Wasn\'t easy to remove screws. On a few screws, I had to use vise grips.
5. Replaced with new eReplacement parts, using 8 new stainless screws and washers. Didn\'t over-tighten screws.
6. Replaced flame tamers and grates.
7. Now the grill burns hot and blue, with a minimum of flames ups.

Some of the screws were corroded and had to sprayed with penetrating oil, and let soak for a while. I was lucky and was able to remove all of them. Then just simply screwed in the new tubes. Then you just lift the grates out and remove the flame tamers and install the new ones.
