I spent quite some time driving around to the big box stores and other local parts suppliers for and air and fuel filter. This is a common motor and tractor model, a Troy-Built pony. The motor was running poorly and stalling even with fresh gas, new spark plug and general motor maintenance. So I tried eReplacement, they had the parts in s tock, received them in about a week. Replaced them and the problem was resolved, tractor running like new. The plastic air cleaner cover removes easily by turning the two plastic knobs and lifting off, then the air cleaner is simply pushed on a horizontal tube, and the cover is replaced.
The fuel filter is easily replaced with a pliers releasing the clamps and sliding the new fuel filter on, remember the correct orientation of the tube nipples. Best replaced when tank is empty as remaining gas in the gas lines will spill out.
Their large inventory makes it convenient to order parts not available locally, and in the end you save time and money if your local supplier does not have them. It is hot where I live, I have an acre of property, and the grass needs weekly cutting. So not having your mower running is an inconvenience.

R&R carb,dis-assemble for cleaning. Main jet corrosion too severe to remove jet, necessary to push stiff single-strand wire through jet to open fuel path. Re-assemble carb with new bowl-bolt gasket, install fuel filter, add gas to tank, pull handle w/choke closed until started. After cool-down, removed muffler/lock-ring and installed new m uffler w/arrestor , quiet like-new now...bring on that Hurricane whatever it\'s named...I have the power now...and no more Ethanol in my fuel,Thanx.
